Beautiful Sajek Valley

Row upon row of hills. Wherever the two eyes go, there are mountains and hills. Ayen is another Bangladesh and another image of it. The high and low hills have gone to the horizon of the sky by harmonizing the canvas of the poet's imagination. And before the golden dawn of the morning, it is as if a piece of cloud has been scattered on the green hill. Ayen is our Darjeeling. Absolutely ours. Our own. Our Bangladesh.

Under Sajek's generous open sky and stars, the earth is like any other planet. In the full moon, when the moonlight shines all around, the top of the mountain. Then a heavenly consonant was created all over the hillside. Even on a moonlit night, thick white fog is waking up in the folds of the mountain. It is as if a group of clouds has gathered in our courtyard. When the unearthly night dawns, the golden sun of the new day falls on the clouds. Yellow river, green hill forest, everything seems to wake up in front of the eyes.

It's not just Sajek who has got a beautiful bed for you. The whole of Khagrachhari and Rangamati will welcome you with the loving call of nature. The Kachalang river has meandered along the hills. Gangaram mouth after Baghaihat market. River mouth. The two rivers flowing from both sides have become one and then flowed along the Bernali path through the heart of the hill. Green forest under the open sky, zoom farming in the hills, Urobazar, Gangarammuth, Machalang Bazar, Machalang river. The beautiful path also has some risks. In the middle of it the Bengali hills meet. Then you will reach Ruilui Para. This is the center of the Sajek Valley. Ruilui Para is inhabited by Lusai, Pankhoa and Tripura communities. At one time it was isolated from the rest of the country. Now the scene has changed. All the houses in this neighborhood are red-green in color.

Nature and people have to choose to visit Saje. None of its own beauty, culture and food will disappoint you. Kanlak Para is a 20 minute walk from here. Where the Pankhoyas live, they lie in solitude behind huge rocks. Standing on this kanlak stone peak, you can see the beauty of the whole Sajek.

On the way to Sajek, you have to enter your name, address and mobile number in Baghaihat zone. It is controlled by the army. Sajak is a very inaccessible place. There is no electricity connection. It has to depend on solar power. There is a crisis of drinking water in high places. So it should be taken with drinking water.

Though Sajek Situate in Rangamati, people love to travel via Khagrachari. Traveling via Khagrachari is the easiest way to visit Sajek. If one wants to go to Sajek, s/he has to come to Khagrachari District first. Several Bus Service available from Dhaka to Khagrachori. Bus rent starts from 500 BDT 1200 BDT depending on the service. If you want to visit directly through Dighinala then you have to choose Shanti Paribahan. There are many other buses like BRTC bus services, Shanti Paribahan etc which drops you in Dighinala. After reaching the Khagrachari, You have to visit Dighinala through CNG driven Vehicle or Four wheeler. It is wise to reserve the Vehicle because there is a scarcity of Vehicle.
